LOL MEGAFAIL
1. Killzone 2 has better legs while Halo Wars does not sell well over a long time 2. Killzone 2 launched end of feb. so it did still outsell Halo Wars in America 3. Killzone 2 was in Development for 2 1/2 max. 4. 8 million userbase vs. 17 million userbase 5. halo wars has "halo" in its title
try harder |
OH boy another prediction by a PS3 fan.

Too bad the 360 HW equals both Sony systems combined though huh?

too bad a console costlier than the 360 outsold it almost 2:1 (Wii)
see I can do that too
LOL you must not be much of a Killzone 2 fan then if you dont remember the infamous E3 2005 'in-game' trailer. Well I wonder how they put that together if this started production in 2006. LOL.
And about the userbase, go research on how much Gears sold on 5m userbase.
And...

sorry for my bad english, hope you understood everything

The 360 at this point has twice the install base as the PS3 in the states. Halo is very popular in the states, the game nowhere comes close to outperforming Killzone 2 taking install base into account.
Halo Wars was launched in March and Killzone 2 at the end of February.
wtf is this discussion about?
Killzone 2 (without Japan) stands at 1,39 Million
Vs.
Halo Wars = 1,07 Million (including japan numbers)
yea but keep playing sales i will play good games instead (KZ2 Woot! =))
(323K + 296K) + ~10% for other America = ~681k
Plus 16 days of sales in April, should be well beyond 700K for just Americas by now. I think that's a nice result.
The game is popular in Europe as well (where it beat Halo Wars in most countries), adding some Japan figures for the future it should easily go past 2 million.
It's a shame some posters cannot get over their bias for one thread and just say well done. Halo in the title or not, this has to be close to the fastest selling RTS on any console previously (I've not checked figures so will not claim it is). Maybe the sales relative to Killzone 2 aren't as impressive as the OP states when you consider userbase but on their own merits these sales are fantastic.
