Forums - Gaming - Is your 1st Final Fantasy still your best Final Fantasy?

Yes FFVI.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

My first was FFVIII, I think it's my favorite, it's either that or VII ... or IX. lol :P
They all have special places in my heart, from VI to X

Nah. I hate to admit it, but FFVll was my first. I went back and played 3 (DS), and 6. I also played 8-10. I still like part 10 the most.

Chrono Trigger was my first RPG, and it's still my favorite. I guess "losing my virginity" with that game makes me more partial to it. Even after FFVll, I thought Chrono was a much better game.

V was my first, but is now my second favorite after VIII.

VII was my first and still my favorite.

My first was ff2, which almost scared me away from RPGs. Then my bro's friend brought over his PS1 one day and a game called FFVII. I have been in lover ever since ^^

Yes, while I played FF3.  I felt like it was a Dragon Warrior rip off.

FF7 was the first one I owned, and played to completion.  I did get misty eyed when Aries died by Sephoth's sword.

I did try to get into FF8 and FF9, but I could not.  So I pretty much gave up on the series, and I doubt that I will even try out 13 unless I Gamefly (not currently a member) it in or something.

No. I played FFIV first, but FFVI is better IMO. FFIV is great, but FFVI is better (the best game ever IMO)

why are FFV and FF9 the red headed step children of the FF series? Hardly anyone likes them and they never really get talked about as much as others.

As of right now, Final Fantasy VII remains my fave among all the rest, but... Final Fantasy Versus XIII will change all that more then the likely.
