What!? your saying dead rising is casual? In my opinion it's (one of) the most hardcore of all. it's very hard, to bloody for casuals and has the most difficult achievements.

At the same time, it's an 8/10 game that a casual (not Wii sports casual, I mean "I only play FPS or Madden" casual) gamer would see on display at Gamestop and want to buy. Some critical successes don't sell half of what some lesser games sell. It's all about perception.

Care to explain then, how the week Blue Dragon came out (and Tiger Woods), that the X360 in the US wound up selling about 8k more units week over week vs. Bioshock?

How about Spain, a definately anti-X360 country? Yes, Bioshock sold well, but Blue Dragon posting a #3 is just as remarkable.

Why wouldn't a game in a weak genre for a console not move systems? It's like saying Metroid Prime didn't help out the Wii in an FPS/Adventure starved Wii market.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Perhaps you should move Fable 2 to 'system sellers' as it's definatly selling a system for me.

I think maybe that new Square Enix game they just previewed at their TGS announcement sounds like it might be a big system seller in Japan, if not a AAA title in the U.S.

The two exclusive episodes for GTAIV should be added to the list.

Also Marvel Universe Online might be a huge game, it's a MMO that is exclusive to the 360 (no PC version in case people were wondering) and Microsoft appears to be pouring a lot of money and effort into the game.  For example they secured the rights to every Marvel property for the game from 1940 to present (never before done for a game or for any Marvel licensed product for that matter).  That means they have access to 5,000+ heroes, villains, civilians, etc from the Marvel universe.  So who knows what to expect since it's also being made by a developer with experience making such MMO games.
