The reason the 360 isn't performing well in Japan is because the Wii and DS have stolen the show from anyone else.

There are currently no Square-Enix exclusives in the works for 360. The only titles that ARE in the works are multiplatform (The Last Remnant; FFXI).

The 360 has all but lost all non-NA territories. I don't see why people think it's doing so well.

Last time I checked Europe wasn't part of NA.

Edit: I define "lost" as being last in consoles sold.

Its easy to understand whats MS doing well .....they are buying their way into japanese market through giving loads of money to developers .Thing is ,japanese market doesnt seem to care .

And about Square and MS I dont know ....they have ported FFXI directly and will do the multiplattform Last Remnant .The new game announced isnt really a Square game but a Tri-Ace game that Square will distribute there .

Japs are very smart tricking MS to get money ......

Wow , I actually thaught that I will hear a real news and not just a phrase that could be just a simple mistacke lol

The Xbox and 360 are doing great considering they have only been in the gaming console business for 6 years and entered it with a lot of doubt on its success. If you go back to 98 or 99 and told an average gamer or a hard core gamer that just a few years down the road that Microsoft would make a console that would compete with Nintendo and Sony they wouldn't believe you.

They aren't doing as best they can in the Japanese market or the Asian market in general but it is a learning process. The 360 will still gather success in the North American and European markets.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

I wonder if a pink 360 is around the corner? I just saw a pink controller. Microsoft really wants to expand like Nintendo. I wonder if all those 360 supporters that flamed Nintendo will criticize Microsoft for this news.

I cant wait for FF XIII though
