Forums - Microsoft - Zune HD specs.

Whoa, pretty sick specs. Though I wonder what the price will be...

Does it say anything about AAC support? MP3 is probably a given still, but Windows 7 can now have AAC audio playing in Windows Media Player 12.

Zune devices and the Zune PC client have *always* supported AAC files (in addition to WMA and MP3).

what? no 64 GB SSD... 120 GB better be SSD.. 32 gb for flash seems so paltry right now.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

I'm sold as well... shit I was going to buy a PSP... but eh PSP2 is rumored to be comming out and this will probably support a fuller compatability to the Xbox 360... Will this be to the 360 what the PSP is to the PS3?

I'll buy one.

Already bought 2 Zune 8gb.
This will come as a nice addition on my desk.

Thank you Microsoft.

120gb? Love the specs. Been waiting and waiting for someone to release a quality mp3 player and don't want an iphone. Creative have been disappointing recently and the new Cowon seems to have some issues and most of all is only 16gb. I was going to wait for the Nokia N97 but seems this device is the way to go. Looks great and great specs.

When is it out? Can't wait.

I like everything except the fact the 120gig was crossed off. I'm sure that will turn off some people.

IMHO Zune is better then IPod from what my wife has. She has a IPod and Zune and uses the Zune way more often listening to books and her mp3s. The sound quality she said is much better, and she likes the Zune better overall. Her only complaint was the battery life wasn't as good as the IPod by a few hours.

With Zune HD I'm sure it will be on her wishlist if the price is right on the 8 gig ($130 or less) also why bother making a XBox portable with Zune HD? Just add a few extra buttons and a analog stick :P

It's just that simple.

It would so awesome if this thing could play 360 games and connect to xbox live.

I would settle for it playing xbox live games only + xbox live friends list.

The way I see them doing this is making an attachment that would be like a 360 controller and you would plug the xune in right on top of the controller.

Portable xbox? Hell yeah!

Kinda like this only cooler and smaller -

WOW! that sounds awesome!
