Texas is the world's 12th largest economy so they don't need extra help.  They are fiscally sound now while the rest of the country is hurting.  Also, you seem to forget that nearly everyone in TX owns a gun and uses it on a regular basis.  They would encourage the Mexicans to come to their towns illegally if you catch my drift.  Texas has the capability of taking care of itself.  It was a republic before it joined to Union so it has experience as a lone nation.  BTW, DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS

 

     Yeah, and they appealed to the US twice during the nineteenth century and got some good guys like Davey Crockett killed trying to protect them.  If they secede and when they decide they need help from the other states again, I feel we should say to them, "tough nugget, kiddos."

One of his favorite presidents is also Lincoln. I asked. Maybe he'd get lucky if he did secede and Obama won't be like Lincoln... just maybe, but I doubt it.

He is a very confused person politically. He is extremist, but I don't think he knows what he's extremist about.

Not really no.  It was based upon principles that conservatives hold dear to get our voices heard by BO and Congress.  This is another method.

So were the founding fathers.  And I told you on my OP that I am not an extremist but a realist responding to situations based upon weekly political climate.  I am not confused politically.  I am a conservative Republican, right of moderate on the spectrum.  It depends on how current aspects of US politics are that determine my rationale.  Now if confused can be substituted with opinionated that I guess I am.  I am not a person with a follow x rationale @ all costs.  Excuse me for not being a brick.

Again, favorite president: Licoln. You secede your ass would be whipped into shape after being served to you on a platter.

9-12 Project - About being American and together. What you do is very non-american and quite the opposite of bringing people together.

9-12 project: Made it sound all nice and American like every proud Amuricahn supports it. Now it doesn't fit your views so much?
