Wait until the price cut, how many times have I heard that word "WAIT" from the sony camp, there is only so long somebody can wait, especially when the competitions' offering is now at a mass market price.

Wait until the price cut, you guys do know that when this happens the competition will be even cheaper, or did you guys not think about that.

I do not see how PS3 can outsell the competition when they are not offering anything better at a higher price.

The competition will continue to outsell the PS3 every year until they stop making it.

Reality bites.

I don't see where he says that they 'won'. Looks to me like he said that they did what they needed to do in the US and are now concentrating on Europe. Seems like a level headed response.

In all fairness you cannot compare the Wii here as it doesnt have the games PS360 has.

It caters to a different market imo.

 

They're all consoles and I think sony lost a lot of buyer bc of wii. Ps2 was also very casual.

I am glad Microsoft is speaking up about this, they need to do more of it, as some people need to wake up and face reality.

That's the problem. Sony says Nintendo is not competition, but in fact Nintendo is the biggest nightmare of Sony. If they could just realize that.

 

If I wouldn't have bought a wii then I would have probably bought a 360 arcade because it's cheap unless the ps3 would be €300.

That's the problem. Sony says Nintendo is not competition, but in fact Nintendo is the biggest nightmare of Sony. If they could just realize that.

 

They will be a nightmare when titles only available on HD consoles start to become Wii exclusives.

As it is, software wise the Wii hasn't really hurt the PS3 at all, whereas the PS2 totally destroyed the GC catalog, even stealing the one good exclusive the GC had ( RE4).

 



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
