Huh? What's all this about pointing at your character between shots to recalibrate the system...?

Most probably after each point, you'll have to point to your character / screen to recalibrate the default position, much like lidting your finger from the analog stick to the neutral position.

Ah, well that wouldn't be bad at all, imho, having to recalibrate after each point.

From that initial statement, it sounded like you had to point at the screen each and every time you hit a ball. :p That would be really, well, unplayable, so I found that quite hard to believe...

But pointing at the screen after every point you score doesn't sound like a big deal. :)

I'll just wait for the reviews and playtests to come in before deciding on either this or Grand Slam. I really like the sound of not having to press any buttons at all, instead of pressing A or B to affect what kind of shots you perform like in EA's game.

Both games look totally different too, and I'm not sure which look I prefer. :p We'll see.

It's really too bad that there is no Wimbledon and other licensed opens, but I'm interested to see if they can really come through on their promise of the exact same online features as the HD versions. Hopefully with no friendcodes and with free chat.

I'm very psyched for this game.

I was going oogly googly over this, until I saw that you have to point the remote at the character after every single shot in order to recalibrate the controller... Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

Hopefully it isn't too annoying. I really hope one of these tennis games turns out to be great, I would love to play a perfect WM+ tennis game!

Apparently the Wii-controller gradually loses a sense of it's position with alot of movement.  This is why the tracking of the baseball bat in Wii sports was quite good compared to many other games, because essentially you are resetting to the same position after each swing.

This is something i thought would be eliminated with WM+.
