For a very long time, I haven't cared about Final Fantasy XIII... Like, at all. I haven't been interested in the slightest. I was let down by FFXII, and I haven't even cared about FFXIII. I didn't even actually watch that debut trailer until Microsoft showed it off at E3 last year, and that was only because I was following a live stream of their conference. I remained unimpressed.

So, this morning, I was really bored. So I checked out the recorded videos of that FFXIII live stream. Suddenly, I care about this game and I'm actually anticipating it's release. I'm not completely sold on it yet, but it has caught my eye and I will be following it closely until it's release to determine if it does indeed warrant a purchase from me.

Anyone else suddenly start caring about this game once we saw some actual gameplay?

That's the benefit of having no expectations for a game - when you finally see/play it you can take it for what it is. And as it is, FFXIII does look great.

I, unfortunately follow every bit of new info regarding XIII even though I know this will harm my experience with it when it's released.
