To the topic at hand.. The Wii may not be powerful enough to do it.. I'm not completely sure but even the top voice recognition software on top end computers have trouble..

I'm sure Nintendo could do it of course but I doubt we'll see any voice controlled games this generation.. HEY THIRD PARTIES! This is why Nintendo beats you all in sales! Why do they have to do all the really innovative stuff on Wii?

EA, Ubisoft, someone, go and make a game that is voice controlled and I mean a really innovative game built from the ground up SPECIFICALLY for Wii Speak's capabilites, bundle it with Wii Speak.. Then market the shit out of it. There's your Nintendo-like quality right there.

I just had a brain wave! Anyone seen an episode of Dora the Explorer? The whole cartoon is Dora asking which way they should go based on information they receive or for the kid to find someting on the screen, why don't they make interactive episodes? All they'd need is the Wii Remote to point at the screen to find things such as clues or pick an option and then the microphone could be there to pick up the kid saying what colour something is or say 'look out!' to give dora a warning to move out of the way of an attacking enemy instead of actually controlling her. I think that'd be a really cool game :P
