Just finished the game yesterday! and started a second run with a whole new different team (well, almost) and see if I can max it all out, I believe I will, doing all the missions more easily and getting all A ranks I didn't get the first time (I finished the game on 40 hours and had: Scouts on Level 17, Troopers on 15, Lancers on 15, Snipers on 14 and Engineers on 13. Played all Ellen side-quests and all but 2 skirmishes on "normal")
What's the top level?? I think it was a little pointless to replay everything with such an overpowered squad, and it's a little unfair to be getting those A ranks like that (hurts my pride)...but if the EX Hard mode will be a real challenge I'd better make my team the best I can on this 2nd playthrough before tackling EX Hard mode. Of course, if it's possible to play from a "clear game" on EX hard...I think I'll have to play from zero on EX hard, which I don't mind since I love the challenge.
Actually is Hard-ex mode for campaign too or skirmishes only ?

damn, I find hard mode difficult enough. I wasn't motivated though due to the lack of rewards but this has me ready to get my ass kicked

Just for the Skirmishes... and if you also buy the Selvaria DLC you get to use her Ruhm machinegun (the one from chapter 15) in the skirmishes could come in handy to beat this Hard-ex mode.
Im more interesed in the edy missions and whats her face missions Miss Hooters .
