Has to be level 50 or below? Some of the best pokemon (including ones that I use) don't evolve until later!!!!

Not to mention almost all of their best moves are learned after level 50. What the heck!

I couldn't enter even if I wanted to... My pokemon are all over level 50.

Then again... I could go in with my Snorlax and Spiritomb... I doubt I'd get far though, even if they are two of the most kickass pokemon around. :P

It is pretty stupid when you consider the fact that the 10th aniversary Pokemon VG championships in New York was min lvl100 and any Pokémon can be used.

I'm curious, though. What kind of Pokemon evolves after level 50? O_o

And getting the perfect moveset might require breeding, but we all know how tedious that is. ;_; (Well, for me)

i would, but id get so badly raped...

Dragonair, Pupitar, and their equivalents from the third and fourth gens all evolve at level 55.

Pupitar is who I was mainly thinking about. :P

Seriously though, only level 50 is BS. All of the best pokemon learn their moves way after 50.... At least from what I recall.

You can get the shards in Platinum and ask the move tutor to teach your pokemon some pretty good moves, but this can take forever.... I seriously think this tournament was just to celebrate Pokemon Platinum now, since some people even beat the elite four with level 50's...

You do know that Pupitar evolves into Tyrantiar which is an uber (I think smogon/serebii labeled it this) and banned from that pokemon list, anyways?

Edit: Oh wait, it isn't. But I think the sand stream (is that what it's called) ability makes it worthy of the banned pokemon list.

I always wondered why Tyranitar was banned... he seems good, but don't a lot of others? Wana explain for me o.o
