well i would be wanting to be nintendo over ps360. Look at the sales o consoles in japan

PS3 3 million
360 1 million

sorry if i was nintendo i don't think i would be too worried if ps3 is selling 0-5k more than us per week.

so pretty sure they are not afraid of the competition, but rather just trying to figure out how to improve their own sales.

I mean 5k a week it will take ps3 how many years to catch up to the wii. Hell even if the Wii stopped selling completely it would take ps3 at 20k a week a really really really long time to catch up. what like 20x50=1 million. so roughly a year for each million. so 5 years.

The highly anticipated Wii releases just haven't been released yet in Japan (MH3, DQ X, etc). Just wait till after those are released then if sales are still down slightly then people can open their mouths about Wii not doing good in Japan.

I can't believe NIntendo is so greedy that they won't even lower the price on Wii in Japan. They should have by now, by at least $50 (or the yen equivalent XD). Japan needs more colors and a price drop. WSR and MH3 will help, but a price drop will do wonders.

60% down YoY is a "fail". That's worse than PS2 2001 compared to PS2 2008.

Much like the GC, Nintendo may be fearing the Wii has already sold about 75% of it's lifetime numbers only two years and some months into this gen.

These same games is what is pushing the Wii in NA and Europe. If even they ceased production on all Wii games, Wii Sports/Play/Fit would keep the Wii above both PS3 and 360.

YoY monthly sales in Japan.  Everywhere else the Wii is doing fine if not better on YoY.  Wait till WSR and MH3.  Also, trying to imply the Wii is going the way of GCN is pretty crappy statement.  The Wii can easily reach 100 million this generation.  Only a fool would think it wouldn't.

Okay, I'll take a chill pill. I knew you were implying Japan but I wasn't sure if you were implying the 75% sold in Japan or world wide.
