| The said: I thought this thread was asking people who own BOTH systems anyway...I clearly don't see a very good reason for someone who owns BOTH consoles to buy the 360 version. Unless they want to share it with friends/family perhaps? I'm just clueless about that, and it seems to me all the people in THIS THREAD in favor for the 360 version only own a 360, I think many people in favor of the PS3 version only own a PS3 too, which makes it all pretty pointless either way... |

I think I see what you're saying, and I agree that it would have been way better if they'd called it Imaginationscore instead of Gamerscore.

There were lots of reasons given you just choose to ignore them because they don't fit your opinions. BTW, do you own a 360?
OT, I have both system and I'll be buying it for the 360 because:
1 - I vastly prefer the 360 controller to the PS3 controller, it fits way better in my hand
2 - Achievements, I prefer them to trophies, plus I like being able to compare my achiement scores to every game I've every played.
3 - Gamerscore
4 - Changing disks doesn't bother me in the least and in fact I kinda like it because, as someone else mentioned, it's satisfying to come to the end of a disk, like you've reached the next chapter, and I like the anticipation when you think to yourself something like "wow, 25 hours in and I'm still only on the first disk!"
5 - I have a 360 in a the bedroom in addition to the main one in the theatre room so I always gets multiplats on the 360 because it gives me more options although the bedroom 360 is mostly used as a media extender

Really grasping for straws there if you're listing the same thing twice.
Why is this not locked again?

Grasping at straws impies I'm trying to make up reasons, not the case
I assume you're talking about achievements and gamerscore? I don't consider them the same thing because with the achievements it's more about completing the objectives to get the score, not the point total itself. It gives you incentive to play the game past completing it. The gamerscore is more about the overall thing because the more games I play on the 360 naturally the higher that will get.
Incidentally, assuming both versions will look and play the same the ONLY thing that might make me consider getting the PS3 version over the 360 version is if the PS3 includes both english and japanese voices. Depends on how good/bad the english voice acting is though. As much as I loved SO4 it would have been better with the japanese voice acting.

Can't believe it's almost a year since this game was announced as Multi-console. How time flies
