Lack of support? Check the sig dude, it is mandatory to have all games with trophies since the beginning of 2009.  The smooth rpg like leveling system trumps the ticker style gamer score of the 360 (IMOB).

playing a FF with a 360 controller would not define a 3D FF game. To me it would not feel like a FF if i dont play it with a PS controller. Also FFv13 is coming to ps3 so both on same console.

PS3 controller>>>>>>360 controller
one bluray>>>>>>Multiple dvd disks
Blurays dont scratch>>>>>>dvd's get scratched just by looking at them
PS3 disk drive>>>>>>360 disk drive is more likely to eat your games.
PS3 no fan noise>>>>>>360 sounds like a hoover.
FF13 created for PS3>>>>>>360 gets the port.

I think for the reasons stated above the ps3 version will not only be superior but greatly superior. Not to mention 7.1 surround sound

I thought this thread was asking people who own BOTH systems anyway...I clearly don't see a very good reason for someone who owns BOTH consoles to buy the 360 version. Unless they want to share it with friends/family perhaps? I'm just clueless about that, and it seems to me all the people in THIS THREAD in favor for the 360 version only own a 360, I think many people in favor of the PS3 version only own a PS3 too, which makes it all pretty pointless either way...

I won't buy any of the new FF titles because it just wouldn't feel right playing them on anything but the console the first FF appeared on.

I must follow my extreme purist instincts.

i own a 360 aswell as a PS3. plus you say people who say 360 are 360 owners and people who say PS3 are PS3 owners. then you go on to say PS360 dont have any reason to pick the 360 version. that is self ownage

I'm sorry, but why is this thread not locked? Seriously?

That said, shame on many of you for being such achievement whores. I admit that they're fun, but you're never going to have as great a gamerscore as the guy with 300,000 gamerscore, so stop trying. And remember the days when people make their own achievements? That vow to beat Ozma in Final Fantasy 9 with an all level 1 party?

or maybe someone owns both systems but likes their 360 more? I know it blows the mind of many people on this site but believe it or not there are people who don't think that the ps3 is god's gift to man. (and I'm not saying you think this just to people in general) I like my ps3 but it is ONLY for exsclusives. Given the opportunity on multi-plats it will ALWAYS be on 360 unless of course the 360 version is truly inferior. From what we know though it seems like both will be virtually identical other than disc swapping which honestly I greatly prefer with my rpg's cause it makes it feel more old school. Now if I had to swap discs on a FPS that would be annoying.

EDIT:  After readin Montana's post (sorry if I spelt that wrong) I agree the thread should be locked and I won't post anymore in it

though Montana I don't agree with what you said about achievements at all.  Sure I may never reach 300,000 but I've got over 20 friends on LIVE and its a blast competing for gamerscore.  We're always comparing and asking stuff like "How the hell did you manage to get that one?"  and there's always great stories that come up about the epic battle you had in Left 4 Dead where you got the All 4 Dead achievement as well as others.
