Exactly! There isn't a full version yet, which means the series is not as popular at this current time. Had you asked me in '05 (when GT4 came out) I would be saying the opposite. When GT5 releases, it will be more popular. Popularity is not constant, instead it cycles. When 3D gaming came to home console form, 2D gaming became less popular because everyone was buying a PlayStation, and then later a PS2. But a little while ago all this 80s stuff was coming back into style, videogames included. There was actually a story in my local news about 2D gaming coming back into style. The popularity of these old games on the current consoles some 20 or so years later proves this further.

So don't worry, GT will pass Halo in the popularity contest soon enough.
