Forums - Nintendo - Your thoughts on Destiny of Zorro?

http://wii.ign.com/articles/969/969869p1.html

I was quite excited when this game was first announced, as I love Zorro and his sword-fighting antics are a perfect fit for a Wii-exclusive game.  However, this article, posted only a few days ago, focusses on "how awesome Zorro is" and "the different forms of media he's been in", making relatively little mention of actual gameplay mechanics.

It comes out early next month.  Personally, I'm in the 'cautiously optimistic' category.  What are your thoughts?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

cautisoly ignoring

as long as drawing out a z shape with the IR pointer stops combat and initiates a cutscene in which Zorro writes Z in someone's clothing

Then I'm looking forward to it

While it's a licensed game, you have to remember that it's not tied to a movie, so they can release it when they want, hopefully as a quality game.

Read my previous post.

Most licensed games are bad because they were made to quickly cash in on some movie or TV show, so they don't have tie to fine-tune or fix bugs.  There's no new Zorro movie coming out, meaning that they ay actually make this a good game.

They should delay this.

No one (and I mean NO ONE) is anticipating this, so they might as well take their time. But if it is good, go ahead.
