Wow, aren't you in the minority here.  I argue with people sometimes but in the end I agree with you.  I don't care if PS3 does amazingly well! I just want to see the system I chose do well also.  As long as I have games to buy I'm happy. But this whole... hatred between Microsoft and Sony fans... it goes SO deep.

I agree. The arguments will never end. I would like the PS3 to come back and make it a fight to the finish even though I like the 360 more. I do hope the PS3 catches up to the 360.

All this talk of shortages is a bit redundant, unless MS issue this. Other than last year everytime I go in a store you would never find a console out of stock not even the Wii. Granted this is only Bolton.
To the 360 Station arguments... NO the ps3 isnt gaining any ground lol its still behind each week. However only by small numbers and with a crazy price tag.

Well it took me this long to read through this whole thread and all I gotta say is wow!

I personally have seen no shortages but as someone pointed out earlier is that I live in Canada and Canada is not the whole world (Thanks Kantor)

What I did see were Wal-Mart dropping prices on all but Arcade models by 30 to 50 dollars, and i saw red XBOX RE5 bundles galore at all the places I frequent.
Yesterday I saw a 5 stack of $99 360's at the local pawn shop.

I did not think that the PS3 would be showing as strongly as it has according to the numbers especially.

I am no fan of Pachter, he probably got his numbers from VGChartz anyways. It is always easier to analyse and report when credible information is readily available.

The only reason that I believe the shortages argument might hold a little bit of weight is if Microsoft are indeed changing their SKU's and selling off stock before they introduce other models, but that is a big if, because so far I have seen no official proof of this being the case.
