I guess it is just perception. Although i consider anyone that goes up there on a daily basis with the only intention of manipulating a general populous with spun stories, half truths, and whole lies as quite disturbing. Of course I consider those that take it seriously and as a logical opinion as something far worse.
But old Bill does have a lot of good points every now and then that I can respect... you know when he doesn't have is own agenda up his ass haha. He is definitely quite a moderate when compared to those of Hannity, Coulter, and Glenn Beck who I would say infringe upon fascism at times haha.

The highlighted segment is true of (pretty much) all cable news commentators ...
Glenn Beck (like all commentators) spends about 80% of his show interviewing a variety of often well spoken and well informed experts who support his world view (who are all worth listening to) and the rest of the time evangelizing to his audience. The two reasons why Glenn Beck has become the "Devil" to so many people is because he is on the opposite side of the political spectrum, and he has become remarkably successful.
The sad thing is that his success isn't difficult to understand, and it could be taken away easily ...
The mainstream media seems to be trying very hard to bury any story which could present Barack Obama, his administration, their supporters, or the economy in a negative light. Since Glenn Beck is one of the few people who are looking for these stories, presenting them regularly, with expert opinions and full commentary (albeit with heavily slanted commentary) he is becoming an important source of information and more and more people are tuning in to become "Informed"; which is an awful reason to watch a cable news commentator.
