@ soriko, I would consider Mario and Paper Mario part of the same IP.

Probably Zelda, if that is announced at E3 (it has been 3 years), and some third-party stuffs. Can't imagine that there will be any doubt of their lineup in about seven weeks or so. After E3 this will all be rather clear, barring any announcement out of the blue.
@ DMeisterJ (edited due to mistaken identity!!)
I'm curious, do you think 3 years is long enough to completely revamp Zelda? I can see Miyamoto delaying it until he's completely satisfied. Both TP and OOT had lengthy delays, and WW would have been delayed if Nintendo hadn't desperately needed a big festival season title in Japan. Do you expect it this year or see it as a realistic option?

Climax is NOT a mediocre developer btw, but you ok. Your list contains late PS3 ports and Quantum Theory which has generic written all over it, so I don't really get where you're going telling me RE, DS and SH might turn out crappy. |
| BengaBenga said: And again, using metacritic doesn't prove anything. It's about your taste. My favorite game this gen is Fire Emblem which scored under 80%. If you like Mario you need a Wii, if you like Gears you need a 360, if you like MGS4 you need a PS3. Simple as that. |
Yeah and I love Tales of the Abyss which has 79% or so, but there just aren't enough quality title's on the Wii, unless you consider those party games that are 3 month in devolopemt as quality. Most of the good third-party are for the HD consoles, Nintendo itself has become lazy and Animal Crossing, Wii Music, Wario Land and the Wii-makes as there big Q4 for 2008 was pretty much the proof of it. Even the GameCube didn't such have a bad year as 2008 for the Wii.
| Hero_time88 said: wishful thinking, the last trailer of FFXIII sayd 2009 and S-E just comfirmed (again) that the game will come out during the winter of 2009. FFvsXIII will be there big title for next fiscal year. I'm not to sure if Silent Hill, Resident Evil: DSC and Dead Space: Extraction will quality title's. SH is being made by a mediocre devoloper, RE DSC is a sequel of a mediocre spin-off and Dead Space doesn't look good at all. And It's obvious, because the HD consoles get every month 80%+ title's while the Wii doesn't even have 30 of those title's after 2,5 years. That was before the delay of DQIX was announced.
Dragon Quest IX Delay Could Affect Final Fantasy XIII
SE never released a main DQ title and a main FF title in the same fiscal year. We don't know what "effect" Wada was referring to.
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Thanks. Now it just needs a release date.

If anything on the OP's list is considered "major" for the wii users...damn, I no longer know what a gamer is these days....
