It seems that you are more concerned about the possible influence that it could have in sales for the PS3 in Japan, than the game itself. Anyway, the game has been comfirmed for 2009. End of discussion.

Well, since they have only done crappy ports and that crappy Silent Hill game for the PSP I don't have much confidence in them. By the way, the only thing that I have seen from Quantum Theory is a trailer which actually looked cool unlike those western shooters, and hey, it's one, if not the biggest games in devolopement right now from Tecmo, but perhaps you prefer to play an onrails shooter made by a small team, made only for extra cash?

Yeah and I love Tales of the Abyss which has 79% or so, but there just aren't enough quality title's on the Wii, unless you consider those party games that are 3 month in devolopemt as quality. Most of the good third-party are for the HD consoles, Nintendo itself has become lazy and Animal Crossing, Wii Music, Wario Land and the Wii-makes as there big Q4 for 2008 was pretty much the proof of it. Even the GameCube didn't such have a bad year as 2008 for the Wii.
