Recently my launch PSP broke so i need a new one. I was wondering whether I should take the dive now and by the new 3000, or wait.

The reason that I would wait is because I am skeptical that a new verion or model of the PSP will be announced ay E3 and my purchase will become obsolete.

I also want to enjoy the lineup for the end of the year. So what should I do? Wait or buy now?

why don't you just wait for E3... if nothing is announced you can just buy another one psp-2000, or 3000 which ever you think is better

Yes a new PSP is coming after they announced like 10 new games for the PSP, and a NEW BUNDLE RELEASED AFTER E3(Rockband, followed by Hannah), and it includes a psp 3000..

In any case, Id suggest you get one, the psp 3000 is a real beuty, bought one myself yesterday.

It wouldnt be wise to release a new PSP Bundle after e3 for $199(the rockband bundle), nor is it wise to announce some top of the line playstation ip for the PSP(lbp,jak,motorstorm), if you are going to announce a psp 2(at e3).
