I need some recomendations on good PS2 games to buy, many people have told me to buy Shadow Of The Colossus however is it necessary for me to play Ico first? In that case I would need to get Ico. Preferably RPGs or some kinds of action games.

Playing ICO isn't necessary for enjoying Shadow of the Colossus, but I recommend it anyway since they're both a couple of the greatest games of all time.

It should be said, though, that they are not for everybody.

For RPGs I recommend the Hell out of some Final Fantasy XII. For action games on the PS2... I'll go with God of War, though Devil May Cry (particularly 3) is also quality.

I own god of war but have never played a DMC game before, do I need to play the first 2 before DMC3? As for Ico hopefully I can find a cheap price on ebay.
