I hope Punch-Out!! Wii will be as hard as the original

do you think it will be?

i'm hoping they'll be different difficulty settings (because i doubt Nintendo would make it as hard as the original unless their were difficulty settings)

The trailers make it look pretty difficult.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

I hope it is too, but I really doubt it will be.

I reckon what will happen is that the core gamers/some fanboys will cry that its too easy just like they did with Super Mario Galaxy and Phantom Hourglass, not realizing one of the reasons the games are easier is because of they're experience and increased skill. Those normal of us will see that the game is still fairly hard, just as Galaxy/Hourglass were.

It better be hard. Because I want a game to last for years. When its easy its not fun.

I don't think a difficult punch out would sync with their expanded core audience.

Hopefully, they'll have different difficulty settings, cause if not, the default will be a joke.

The game is about pattern memorization, something that the "expanded" audience has taken to quite well (given Guitar Hero and whatnot). I think the difficulty won't be an impediment even if they were trying to make this a "casual" game. And i really think they're pitching this one straight at nostalgia.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

To be honest, Punch-Out!! is kind of like Guitar Hero. It's not a boxing simulator, just like GH isn't a music simulator. it's pattern memorization. Hell, they could make beating Mr. Dream analagous topassing Through the Fire and Flames.
