And interesting side note, I actually made a Quake 4 level a while back that did the same thing as the director but it actually spawned off sound (same exact idea, just mine had one more step and a little less detailed since mine was a 3 month project).



Cool. The AI Director in this game will definitely keep the game fresh as my friends and I play online in the dark hours of the night.

I heard complaints from commentors about how zombies are stupid and are not a fun enemy in an FPS because their AI is dumb...that may be...but when a smart AI Director is in control of the hordes of zombies...added to the 4 player zombies, it's going to get intense.

What, no love? Yeah...this is probably the 5th Left 4 Dead thread I've made...

I'd take a bet that 75% of the users here have PCs that could run Left 4 Dead fine...Source games are great for any PC. I suppose this could be fun on 360 as well...but I'd say the PC is the easiest platform for this game...easy updates, new maps, very simple communication and internet access. Trying to get the word out is all...

 I'm actually perfectly alright with stupid zomebie AI.  Afterall, they are zombies and they are already crazy fast and a lot of them, why would you want to make it more scary/intense?



Zombies are supposed to be dumb anyway....and yeah, the crazy fastness is going to scare the crap outta me numerous times I'm sure...melee button, ready!

I expect to be walking around and have BenKenobi88 totally freak out at the sound of his own footsteps and then spin around and hit me with the butt of his shotgun.
