Three hammer bros.? Man...they're just so slow...

Yeah they are slow, you just need to get used to doing some good passes and you have to be good at wacking you´re enemy with those hammers, plus their supper shot is great because once they lift of into the air ther is nothing the enemy can do, once you get the distance right ther is nothing the enemy can do about it, I know doing the same move again and again is lame but once I find a tacktic that works I like to stick to it till my opponent finds a way to counter.

P.S. I always pretend to make a run for it with the hammer bros. but then turn around and wack`em with a hammer, works a lot more often than you would expect :)

Shams, do you have much success with jumping? That's always struck me as the hardest maneuver around the goalie.

The three hammer bros one sounds interesting. Their shooting/passing works well but man... as Ben said, they get frustrating with their speed.

Jumping takes a bit of practice. You can sort of confuse the goalie then get around it. Its not a great strategy, but it can be effective.

Hammer Bros - used to be my favourite, until I started getting caned. Defenders can take them out too easily.

That pink thing with the big snout is evil. Eggs shots are nasty, her dodge (spin on the spot) is very quick and hard to avoid - and she is as good a shooter as DK.

But the moves I hate the most are the teleport moves. I wish they were dropped from the game. Daisy has the ball near the goal... next thing Daisy is IN the goal with the ball. Grrrrrrrr!!

Nocturnal is helping companies get cheaper game ratings in Australia:

Waluigi has the same cheap teleporting move. I hate it. But I shouldn't talk since I successfully use boos to pass through the goaly almost every time. I hardly ever take shots.

hmm, 45 people max, development time of 18 months...

say $100k per, that's 4.5mln * 1.5 = 6.75mln. 225k to break even, assuming nintendo earns $30 per sale. probably closer to $40, since they don't need to pay royalties to themselves, but anyhow.

There is no way these guys make 100k in Canada to work on games... maybe the top guy on the team makes that much but I'd highly doubt the rest do.  Also 10 of those guys would have only been needed for about 4-6 months for beta testing... so the budget would have been even lower then you thought for the game ;)

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

It's all about having a balanced team, if you want to play fair and not cheap and actually look good haha.

I use Yoshi's starting team. Himself, dry bones, koopa, and hammer bros. Dry bones is there for my steals and moving it down the course quickly. The other 3 are my score guys and found ways to score everytime with all of them. Using hammer bros in the back corner is almost a guaranteed score. Same with koopa and yosh if you hit the ball exactly right. The only time I'll do a skill shot is if I'm so far away from the defenders that I can simply assure me a goal. I never do megashots. They are pointless. If I can block them so can everyone else so jsut a waste of a shot really.
