It would take however long it takes for Wii 2 to be released. That game won't run on Wii. Unless, you want them to strip it down till it's a blurry mess like Ubisoft did FarCry.

That was not a port, and didn't even use the TEVs. How far behind are you?

LOL, that wasn't a port well then I am even more certain that it will never, never nor could never, ever happen. I was trying to be "NICE" to UbiSoft and give them the benefit of the doubt but if that wasn't a port then hey you are a cruel and evil person for pointing out how truly horrible FarCry for Wii was. Shame on you!

I love the N but Wii can't do every thing Wii want can Wii?

Beside I agree with Peter Moore's latest comment, that the best way to make a good Wii game is from the ground up. I know I agreed with Moore (sorry).

You really are far behind. It was accepted long already that Farcry Vengeance was crap because it was crap, not because the Wii couldn't handle it. It would have been just as shoddy on any system.

OK LTNK I hear what you are saying. And the merits of FC are no longer the point. I think you missed that I conceded to you on that fact- (I took you at your word on the production process of FC (because I don't care that much)).

BUT- I continue to state that the Wii can't handle it. (Unless some new form of programming is discovered). If it is put on Wii it will be stripped down. It's a dumb idea and I don't think that it will be profitable for Square/Enix because the one of the reasons people buy FF is because of the Graphics. Not many people are going to waste their time with the stripped down Wii version. Sad but true.

It wouldn't be stripped down. That implies they just take the asset data and remove stuff. That is not possible. The assets would have to be made all over again, to fit the reduced scale. It wouldn't look like the HD version, of course, but there have been many ports like that since before the crash of '83.

OK LTNK. I have made my point.

I don't think it is a good idea. I don't think that the idea will be profitable or wise. I shudder to think how much money Nintendo would have to spend to get FF XIII on the Wii.

Maybe they could do what they did on GC and create allow a "2nd party" to recreate or port the game over.

If it actually had marketing, it could still sell. RE4 cost a lot to put on the PS2, but they marketed it, and it sold great. Same with RE4 on the Wii (even if the port cost less).

Considering that Wii has Crystal Tools, it wouldn't take as long as some people think.

But I'm not really sure why Nintendo would pay for FF13 when they're already getting DQX and KH3.

KH3 really? link please or else I call BS on this rumor.

I don't want to see FF13 on Wii, the main FF is more about zomg purrrtyyy, very shallow but very true. I'll be happy with Crystal Bearers on Wii, I want 13 to be pretty as hell.
