That is what was said, so I named the one character who fits that desciption.

15 years old with a hat on or 17 years old with non-spikey hair or even 15 years old with flat hair doesn't fit that description.

 

You can still have spiky hair if you have a hat on.

 

Hat pushes hair down.

You need to take the hat off and apply some gel if you want it to be spikey.

Spikes come out of the side.

Hmm...

  1. Final Fantasy VI
  2. Chrono Trigger

After that, I really don't care.  The issues I have with his list are:

  1. Final Fantasy VI is not on the list
  2. Chrono Trigger is not on the list and...
  3. Chrono Cross is on the list
  4. Dragon Quest VIII made it on that list
  5. An even bigger insult, Pokemon made it on that list.
  6. Lost Odyssey made it in the top 5 when it probably should not have even been on there
  7. Final Fantasy VII topped the list.  Some would say it deserves to be on the list for at least what it did for the genre, personally, I think it's still leading the genre to doom.

I like all the games listed except for Xenosaga 1. Those cutscenes that took like an hour each drove me nuts.

 What? I agree with you for FFVI and Chrono Trigger but I don't know if you have ever played DQVIII but it's one of the best JRPG ever! Should definitely be on the Top 3.

I did play DQVIII and I do think it's quite good, it's just there are other better games out there.  When you're talking about the *definitive* best JRPG list, DQVIII doesn't need to be on there.
