Forums - Sony - Just got tuition reimbursement for $1917.50...

Sony TVs tend to be the most expensive one compare to similar or better TV's but you are very loyal to Sony so have fun on that part. I suggest get a better deal on bundled TV with Ps3 on it because they are cheaper.

Go for it.

I prefer supporting Sony, even though they tend to be more expensive, I've never been disappointed in their products.

Huh i don't get why some people try to only support certain companies...its not as if they are giving you money or care about you they are all in it to rip off the consumer and destroy other companys.  But o well its your money i guess...

@yo_john 117, It's more a matter of security. Sony products have been consistently reliable for me in the past; I could go for cheaper and have less sense of security but that's not worth it in my opinion. It's the same reason I buy everything new instead of used. If Sony starts producing faulty hardware at an alarming rate or adopts business practices that offend me then I can assure you my business will go elsewhere, until then though...

How do you breathe again?

Samsung 650 LCD series, you won't be sorry

Yeah i can see where your coming from...They do have extremely good products that can almost always be trusted (sans PS2) I guess if you have the money to spend, go for the topline stuff.

67 inches...8-9 feet away...no problems and it looks great.

aye :D

The Bravias are great TVs, it was either an XBR or the 750 series Samsung. I went with the Samsung, since it was cheaper and had better specs. Go for it, as for distance away, according to my manual minimum sitting distance is 6' for a 52", so I imagine its 5' for a 40"

Hopefully getting a ps3 won't degrade your marks lol. Don't won't those tuitions going to waste hahaha. Grats on getting a new tv and ps3. You won't be dissapointed. And also 5-10 feet should be fine for a 40inch.
