@yo_john 117, It's more a matter of security. Sony products have been consistently reliable for me in the past; I could go for cheaper and have less sense of security but that's not worth it in my opinion. It's the same reason I buy everything new instead of used. If Sony starts producing faulty hardware at an alarming rate or adopts business practices that offend me then I can assure you my business will go elsewhere, until then though...
