Sounds believable to me. Homophobic politicians and clerics often make the most irrational statements.

I think it's funny that this thread basically turned into a "lets hate on the gay bashers!"

The real problem is that they spent millions for this whole setup, and now they won't be getting a herd out of this guy, so the whole thing is a failure. I guess that's what happens when you put all your eggs in one basket? :P
