Of course it wasn't a failure.

VC2 will also look much prettier.

That is unnecessary but they do well to improve certain other areas. I'd still buy the game if it had the same mechanics and the only thing different was the story. I think they should take the FF route with disconnected stories and worlds. That way, they can make infinite sequels

They have a few jaggies here and there that they could easily touch up. I would want the same look with a minimal amount of improvement.

I agree that any game in the vain of VC doesn't need to look prettier. That being said, I welcome any improvements! If they can make the game look even prettier, go for it. Since they have the engine build this time around, they can better touch up on it, and I would be rather dissappointed if there were in fact zero improvements.

To me, will stay normal.

Unreal Tournament 3 and Burnout Paradise sales were normal when they both got HUGE updates.

Gamestop will probably sell you used copies instead of real ones, like they always do. For instance, I was trying to buy God of War 2 last year brand new, instead they went in the back, got a used copy and put it inside the cover acting like it was new. I was like, wtf...I'll go to Best Buy instead.

Eh, I don't think we'll see any rise at all. VGC seems to have trouble tracking random rises in sales. Look at VC in Japan this week. MC had it in the top 50 due to the anime whereas VGC reports it dropping lower at #123.

I don't think VGChartz tracks GameStop specifically, so trackign a GameStop specific sale would be hard to do.

I do know this: we sold more copies of Valkyria Chronicles this week than we have since release!

A lot higher than usual, I bought it.

I figure the story is similar across the nation.

The bolded equals a win.

Hmm I'd be pleasantly suprised if this were true :)
BTW there should be minimal increase in others too since some shops in UK started showing it in 15 pounds price range.

it's unlikely this small sales spike will be tracked, instead it might negate the overtracking this game has seen over the last weeks/month
