i havent played DS but i tried the demo it was pretty good

i have RE5 and im disappointed so i would think that DS is probably a better game

im just not into space and scifi elements to get into DS

I enjoyed RE5 more than Dead Space.

Both are excellent games.

I liked Deadspace, if it was not for L4D coming out around that same time it would have been my favorite purchase of the holiday season.

RE5 I just started, decided to take advantage of EBgames trade in deal on it last weekend. I am not playing it only right now so I am only up to the Marshlands and it is suprisingly good, the demo had turned me off a bit. I will wait until I finish it to decide which is better, but so far RE5 seems a good game if a bit old fashioned.

I have enjoyed Dead Space more than RE5. Both games are quality though.

If you want the "oh, I just shit my pants" survivor horror, get Dead Space.

If you want non-stop action, you will enjoy RE5.

Hmmm, I can't comment since I have not played Deep Space. I'm not sure if I should get Deep Space though. I see all these people that liked it online, but all my personal friends that bought Deep Space said it was a waste of their money. Hmmm, should I listen to people I know, or the internet.

Like many are saying, Dead Space is a better horror game, but Res Evil 5 is a better game overall. I got bored with DS halfway through but I've played RE5 to death. Res Evil 5 being less scary may be a good thing because after the first playthrough, the initial would be gone. RE5 is very replayable.

RE5 is waaay better than Dead Space it took probably an hour to beat Dead Space and not even 5 to platinum it
RE5 has much more hours and much more gameplay in it with Mercenaries and versus

I enjoyed playing through Dead Space. Somewhat scary and much more intense than RE5 IMO.

I like the RE5 demo, but I haven't played the full game. Dead Space is one of my favorite games this gen though, so it will probably be better than RE5 in my eyes when I finally get around to playing the full game.
