I'd come over to help you guys fight, but we've already been taken over. The chimera-crawling-things are sucking my brain out as we speak...

Russia won't join the EU... but if for some crazy reason it does, then..... the EU would have access to so many resources it'd be insane. And yes, the EU should be counted as one economy... as long as/if it can always act in coordination between its member states.

What are you talking about? The chimera are threatening our very survival and you're talking about economies?

Christ, let's hope that the NAU has a better looking flag than that. It looks like the menu of a restaurant that doesn't know what to cook.

Indeed. That is what the EU project is all about. Peace, Cooperation Stability and Freedom

EU Motto: "United in Diversity"

 "United in Diversity" seriously?

That doesn't sound like a principle that can sustain a government long term.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

Europe will be able to field the largest most impressive military planet earth has ever seen. I don't think we want to do that though. We're not really that interested. No offense, but Europe will probably let America do the dirty work (we don't like to get our hands dirty). :/

History has shown, that being a country with more wealth, and less ability to protect it ALWAYS leads to disaster.

^Well, it's been going for a few decades, now.

Sam - few decades of peace vs. thousands of years of proof to the contrary. Hmm.

ASEAN is climbing up the list for economic power. ASEAN Plus Three rivals the size & scope of the EU.

An NAU would equal the size of the EU as well.

So don't think that it can't be done in other regions

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
