Not sure about this

I want to be able to fight

It humane nature to see a freak thing coming at you to run or fight or both

Not to just say ohh well I guess I got cornered time to just lay down and die…;(

I'm sure if you get cornered that there's some sort of 'push' command or something.

In Clock Tower (one of the best survival horror games ever, and for the SNES!) you had no weapons whatsoever, so whenever you'd run into Scissor Man, your character (Jennifer) would grab the scissors as he tried to cut you and you had to mash the A button to knock him over.  If you were lucky, there were also environmental things you could do to knock him off your path, such as walking across a hole via a plank, waiting until he started to wak across, then yanking it from under him.  Still a very tense game.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

^that might work

but some of the fun of the first game was those fights b/c it was you vr god only knows and b/c you were out matched it was hope to god i survive this but i am going down swinging

It won't look"as good as a PS360 game" (REALLY getting annoying), but the game looks good in its own right, or should I say own light, since that seems to be an important aspect of it.

I doubt this would do to especially better anywhere else either, so I don't want to hear, this should've been on the PS3/360.

They didn't say a 'top-tier' PS360 game, though.  From the screenshots, this game could easily pass for something like Condemned.

Looks ok.

I had no interest in this game when I first found out about it, but after reading IGNs feature, I'm dying to play it (hope I don't)!

IGN: Finally, Wii fans have been burned before. Why should they be excited about this new Silent Hill?

Tomm Hulett: When the Wii was announced, we all heard about the great new things it could do for the core gamer. We were told it wouldn't be all music sims and exercise tutorials -- there were real games on the way too. It took a few years, but Silent Hill is here. This is the game you've been waiting years for. It's mature, it's tense, and it has everything you're looking for in a "real" survival horror game, because it is one. Oh, and it's not a rail shooter.

OH!  MASSIVE BURN to Capcom and EA right there XD

Well Capcom did tell us on their boards that DC was faster to make than a full RE game, so of course it would be presentable now. This doesn't mean a full one isn't coming.

Likely the samd with Dead Space. They can get a Wii game that way, while a full game would have to come later, whether or not Extraction was made.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

lol maybe.  Still funny as hell that they're getting burned by another dev.

I hope it turns out to be good,I don´t really trust IGN since usually they talk good about the games on the previews and then their reviews don´t match the preview.
