oh ok... i'll just try to play more turns with my favorite characters (leonardo and ilyana will help too) instead of rushing it with zihark or Tauroneo.

In Part 1, there is no reason to even have Tauroneo hold a weapon.  He is extremely useful as a shield/decoy to take the threat away from your important characters.

In Part 1, using any of the following characters will only make the game harder: Tauroneo, Black Knight, Zihark, Volug, Sothe, Tormod, Muarim, Vika and Nailah.  I would recommend not killing a single character with any of these listed characters unless absolutely necessary.

You could easily get the max BXP by using these characters, but in the end it would be more harmful by taking away the majority of experience gained during those early levels.

Zihark is the best swordsman in the game. Once everyone has caught up to his level, it's time to bring him out and slaughter.

Sothe is amazing the whole way through.  Early on he makes a great meatshield for Micaiah when you take his weapons away and enables her to level easier thanks to their support.  Later on his stats and Micaiah support make him very useful.

Thanks, that was the answer i was looking for :D and i didn't remember to take tauroneo's weapons. You made me see the light *runs for it* !!

@Words of Wisdom, I'll not use Zihark because i have GC's save and he did not gain stats from it. I use Edward (and Mia if i do not have too much people). Sothe will be in final chapter so he has to be raised (tried him without weapons and is working...thanks for the tip)

After playing so much of FE 7 (all game completed) how could i forget about that awesome thing that is take weapons from higher level units - that Marcus was really useful without weapons ehehhe

Is that what Serenes says? My Edward curb-stomped Zihark.

Doesn't matter.  By T3, you'll cap most everything important with all of them.  The thing that Zihark has that owns everyone else is Earth affinity.  When all their stats are equivalent, Earth affinity crushes any hope of anyone being better than Zihark.

Oh, right, Earth support. That'd.... that'd do it.

If I play through in Hard mode that means I'm using Zihark.

Nolan is basically Boyd with an Earth support - he is also unspeakably bad-ass.

yeah, Nolan is my favorite...

so that Earth support is really good eh? I have to check it out.

Earth supports add +7.5 avoid for every level of support - so at A level it adds 22.5 avoid. If you pair that with Wind, it's 30 for both users. With another Earth, it's 45.

thanks Khuutra, now I know why soren+Ike support gives both 30 avoid (i could just search it but you need $vgchartz)

hey! I had an ideia, i'm not using Meg (I even benched her) so what if i take her and make Volug carry her? that way volug could be a little more useful.
