Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Fire Emblem is a difficult series, I don't know if you guys have heard

The real question is do you plan on using all those units. With bonus experience you can use it on any unit you wish. With experience gained from the map, you can only use it on those in the map, but you get more experience overall.

If there is a unit later on that you know you want BXP for, go for the BXP.

Also, as a note, you only gain 200 BPX for beating it in less than 15 turns, yet you get 700 for clearing the stage, and up to 1300 for saving the prisoners/soldiers

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Sorry, I haven't read all the replies yet
But I was wondering when the next Wii FE will come out (I hope this year!!)

I'm playing FE7 for the first time and I already want more, though I haven't beaten it yet. The game is great, but I think Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn are better, probably because those were my first FE games :s, so they hold a special place in my heart.

FE7 isn't that hard, really. I suppose I"m used to Hard mode from the other games. I'm in chapter 16 I think and I haven't died yet. Is there a hard mode in this game as well?

Add me for Pokemon, New Leaf, and Fire Emblem, Mario Kart 8.

There is no known future Fire Emblem games.

As for a Hard mode, yes, there is a hard mode but it isn't unlocked until after you beat it the first time.

When you play the game for the first time, it forces you to play Lyn (Normal) followed by Eliwood (Normal).

Later on, you will unlock 6 modes:

Lyn (Normal / Hard)
Eliwood (Normal / Hard)
Hector (Normal / Hard)

None of these are that hard however, if you check the pre-battle screen, it tells you your star ranks which represent how well you're doing in every category.  Getting a perfect ranking on Hector's Hard Mode is very difficult.

if by clearing the stage you mean kill all enemies then i'll do that in more than 15 turns with pleasure: 700 >200 :D.

I forgot to say that i have little bonus exp in the first levels but tried to finish them before time (it barely gives 50 exp to Micaiah).

I'd like to use Nolan (my favorite character because on normal was the only that capped all stats, even magic and resistence), Edward, Jill... have to use sothe and micaiah.

no, the 700 is just for clearing finishing. It doesn't matter how.

if you beat it in under 15 turns the max BXP is 2200. If you take over 15 turns the max BPX is 2000.

oh ok... i'll just try to play more turns with my favorite characters (leonardo and ilyana will help too) instead of rushing it with zihark or Tauroneo.

Take your time in FERD chp. 6. Level that part up. Later on you want them to be as powerful as possible... seeing as the part in general sucks (The good characters are concentrated in Ike's party)

In Part 1, there is no reason to even have Tauroneo hold a weapon.  He is extremely useful as a shield/decoy to take the threat away from your important characters.

In Part 1, using any of the following characters will only make the game harder: Tauroneo, Black Knight, Zihark, Volug, Sothe, Tormod, Muarim, Vika and Nailah.  I would recommend not killing a single character with any of these listed characters unless absolutely necessary.

You could easily get the max BXP by using these characters, but in the end it would be more harmful by taking away the majority of experience gained during those early levels.
