Do tiered levels stack? By which I mean, would someone who is 20/5 take - holy shit - 1300 experience for a full level up?

The Bonus EXP required for a full Level up (in Normal mode) is: (50 × Character's Level) + 50

  • For Laguz characters, their Level is multiplied by 1.5
  • For 2nd Tier Beorc characters, 20 is added to their Level
  • For 3rd Tier Beorc characters, 40 is added to their Level

To obtain the Bonus EXP required for a specific amount of experience points, just multiply the above amount by (experience points) / 100.

If playing in Easy mode, the Bonus EXP required is multiplied by 2/3.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Accordingly Khuutra can multiply all his BEXP required stuff by 2/3.

I wouldn't be caught dead playing on Easy.

he also lives in his parents basement where no one ever visits, so he never really has to reset either.

I am playing on Normal! The only reason I'm not playingo n Hard is because I haven't unlocked it yet! Also: I fear death!

That serenes forest site is lovely. Has a lot of stuff.

They need to make a text dump for Blazing Sword. I've never seen a script that included the special conversations that can be had during the final battle, particularly in Hector mode - and they are all very, very, very good.

I find the last couple of Chapter 1 levels relatively easy (compared to most other levels), mainly because an unarmed Tauroneo and Black Knight make fantastic shields. I'm still amazed how much XP the game lets you waste if want 20/20/20 Black knight with an attack range of 2 makes it kind of ridiculous.

The amount of BEXP you get in the later chapters is a whole ton compared to the first 2 chapters.

On the pegasus knight level, I always found success in the middle of the map (with all the grass) as a sufficient location to shield the weaker characters.

And yes, Maciah gets the most useless characters in the entire game, Tauroneo, BK, meg, Volug, Nahalah, Fiona. Man, almost half your team is an absolute waste of XP, and when you waste it on them, the game is on a whole other level of difficulty later on.

Serenesforest is amazing. It's still a little rough around the edges but it's continually getting better.

When playing Hard in RD, you need to fear more than death, you need to fear some of the most serious frustration ever induced by a video game.

I'm on a RD Hard playthrough right now (progressing very slowly because of Wife and kids), and I nearly lost it on one of Ike's early levels.  Ike died by an equal level Priest (Ike HP 28, damage from Priest was 8 with a 42% hit chance and 12% crit) obviously this damn Priest crit me, followed by the next round an armour sneaking out of the fog and hitting Titania with a horseslayer.  This was very frustrating as I probably wasted an 1.5 hours on this damn level, and I'm back at square 1 again.
