Let those that want to gloat go ahead and get it out of their system.  The sad part is if adjustments do come the fickle glory fanboys will flee the site leaving the decent Sony fans suffering abuse for saying the 360 is doomed (when in fact they weren't).

Personally I don't care as all the current systems have sold enough and are selling enough to remain viable for the rest of this generation for third party support.  Once we passed that barrier then it mattered little to me did sales.

Last thing to ponder, Killzone 2, was that the biggest game PS3 had lined up this year and if so when was it released?  Guess it did move systems then people, sure there are many other good games to come but this was Sony's first volley and it was successful, good for them!

I find it amusing that the Sony fan boys all started claiming years ago that PS3 will wipe Xbox and Wii clean when it launches. Now they are posting raves that the PS3 is almost selling as much as the Xbox and how that is a big win. Talk about lowering expectations. Ofcourse they don't even dare mention the Wii. Another amusing point is they always take the lowest price xbox and compare it against the PS3. Where I am in Canada, the Elite is almost the same price as a PS3. In fact for a while the xbox and PS3 were neck and neck in price last year - I do not consider the Arcade the main competitor to the PS3 since none of my friends have one.

It is good that Sony is selling better. If I was Sony I would be concerned if they didn't sell this well considering the biggest and most hyped PS3 game was recently released. It is great that all 3 consoles are selling well. It keeps the competition going and ensure that we all have great games to play.

lol is this what the xbox fans have come to now? saying things like in the store i went to 2 xbox 360's were sold but no ps3s! lol you think sony even gives a shit if the gap is only 50k or even 100k for that matter? at these prices the 360 should be outselling the ps3 by 2 to 1 each fucking week! why the hell do you think sony aint in a rush to drop the price? because they dont even have to. people are still buying the ps3 even in the recession and even though the 360 is half the price.
