Also, before anyone freaks out, it says that it's the fastest SCEA title to reach 500k, not that it's sold only 500k. So it's apparently more than 500k, but it's the fastest SCEA title to do so. So the title is wrong, and misleading.

Killzone 2 is definitely my current favorite multiplayer FPS of all time. It has a lot of good points most reviews totally missed aside from the fact that it beats everything graphically, which is pretty awesome for a developer who had never made anything on that scale before.

I was just musing about what a publisher better at selling to Americans would have been able to do with the game, since as Americans we're pretty obsessed with FPS.

Edit - Seems I spoke too soon.

Anyways, here is the real quote.

"Killzone 2 has been the fastest SCEA PS3 title to break the 500,000 unit mark and it's also the highest selling SCEA PS3 title for the first 30 days out of launch," detailed Steinberg. "So far, we are extremely happy with the results."
