Forums - Sony - New Home content, Poker, new Game Spaces, mini games etc

Home has just been updated with a plethora of new content and we've got the lowdown for you!

Load up Home and check out your locations, there will now be a new Godfather II game space as well as an update to the Resident Evil 5 game space with the addition of a new beetle mini game.

The Godfather II space is quite nice, as it features two floors worth of poker tables with which you can play with up to eight other players. There's a trailer playing over the bar along with some pretty swag leather seats throughout. This definitely is one of the better designed Home spaces and is worth a look.

On the Home Mall side of things, the Threadz store has been updated along with new Street Fighter IV figurines in the furniture store.

And now on to Xi. Stapler has a new challenge which consists of you beating Hexopolis, Maximum Tilt and the new text-based game "Corrupted" all on Expert difficulty.

All in all this is a pretty content packed update and we look forward to Home's next major update where custom picture frames as well as other features are rumored to be making a comeback. See ya in Home!

I'm definitely going to try Poker, that alone will keep me in Home for quite a while.

Wow PS Home is getting bigger. That poker feature seems interesting.

Nice, I havent been on in awhile, I'll have to check that out this weekend

I must say that poker space looks pretty damn good.

So to summarize:

You can play a poker mini game and a beetle mini game - Great! Its not like I couldn't do that already on the internet and even via the PS3 web browser!

More stuff to waste money on

A random challenge added

What a content packed place! /sarcasm

I still see Home just as pointless as ever.

pretty good update, if they can keep adding features it will continue to be a success

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

The poker game should have been there from the beginning. This is not a huge update more like necessary. Why cant they release at a much faster pace?

Home was rushed when it was released, there was a lot of delays and people were growing weary, they had to release Home, but don't forget it's still a Beta, it's not "officially" released yet.

LOL at Skeeuk and at this^^

Home wasn't "rushed."  It was delayed and delayed from it's original planned release.  If anything it took too long to deliver, and all that was delivered was a pointless, mindless app with no life and nothing to really bring any benefit for using it.  It's just an attempt for Sony to make up some losses of having a "free" service by charging you microtransactions on clothes, apartment things, etc.

@Skeeuk
Home never was and still to this day is not a success.

If Home has recouped it's costs?  It almost assuredly is a 'success'.   But hey,  you're doing a mighty fine job of trolling as is.  Why not keep it up?
