Quick question....
Is it possible to use L1/R1 to shoot? If so what do the rest of the buttons do with that setup?
I heard L2/R2 are default and I hate the ps3's lame triggers.

is that blood that sprays out of the back of the rat that owl is eating?
OT: I don't think that's possible

I don't think I see any blood, but somethin flies out...
I doubt it L2 is used for aiming, and if you depress it half the way, it goes to manual aiming, once you get used to it, it works really well, but most of the time you can get headshots by just using auto aim and then pulling back on the right analogue stick
But the simple answer is no, and if you really hate the PS3's triggers, then you can buy things to stick on them, so that they bend the other way

No there's blood. I guess that means it casual instead of core.

Well I guess it won't be too bad since every gun in gta4 is basically an automatic. ps3's triggers only really drive me crazy when you gotta tap them often.
On the bright side, I'll actually be able to read the cell phone text this time - I first played it on 360 (which was refunded for the ps3) on a CRT TV and the cell was literally almost unreadable.
@ parasitic, yeah, I had the cell phone text problem when I first played the game. And other than the pistol, they are pretty much all automatic, though I think you do get stuck with a pistol for a little while.... but it is definitely a game that needs some time to get going and to draw you in
You have a Gamecrazy in your area? If so just buy some Real Triggers for $5. That or you can just buy them off the internet. I have a pair and they not only make the triggers much better but the controller feels much more comfortable because of it.
They are a simple snap-on mod.

Those were the things that I was referring too, I got them free with a magazine, but I did not like the feel of them

I like that they make the controller feel bigger.
I prefer to have my R2 and L2 triggers like that as well as having my analog sticks concave instead of convex.
You don't have any issues with your fingers slipping off the R2 and L2 triggers?
