wouldnt that count as the 360 port interfering with ps3 development , something promised wouldnt happen. So now ps3 owners dont get the demo because 360ers are now getting FFXIII. That means if it was still exclusive it would be.

it has been announce waaaaaayyyyy back....in a interview with either ign or gamespot...that the demo was only exclusive to japan...which comes only with FF:ACC blu-ray....this was even before 360 version was announced...in that same interview that said FFXIII would be ps3 exclusive....

yeah...that's pretty far back....360 version has nothing to do with other region not getting the demo....they never planned for a demo in other regions originally...

but all this talk about demo....they only talk about demo that's inside the FF:AC Complete....there has not been one article/post/blog/interview about an actual demo coming out on PSN/Live....which we would have no idea about till they announce they are going to release one...until then...no one is getting a dl-able demo...if that is what you're maybe thinking....not even Japan....

so in the end...it's not 360's fault we(regions outside japan) are not getting a demo...

1. Where is the link to prove that this was promised and then taken away? I'd like to see it. Your blog post has no source attached, so anything it says means nothing.

2. We can split hairs over little things, but ultimately it's pointless. I can say every multiplat game comes out later because they need to port it to PS3 from the original 360 build and that it's Sony's fault because of that. If only those 150+ titles had gone 360 only we could have gotten them much earlier. It's a pretty selfish way of thinking I must say, but it's exactly the way I see PS3 fans treating this FF XIII 360 port.

I especially love the part about "Sony making money off the PS2 with the Xbox nowhere in sight" (Nevermind the fact that the 360 is number two) and "Microsoft needs to work on their own exclusives." (Nevermind that some of the best games for the 360 are exclusives)

It sucks about the demo, but it's really not a huge deal. The idea that it's all the 360's fault is crazy.

I wonder if they'll take a small leaf from PD's handbook and release a FFXIII prologue (Multiplat of course) in Na/EU a month before it hits Japan...
They're effectively charging for the demo as it is already. (I do think they'll release a "free" version in Japan in about June/July '09 though)

WE KNOW FOR A FACT that the PS3 version of this game will be fully localised BEFORE the put a SINGLE LINE of Code into the 360 port:

Some people cant see the difference between bluray and DVD, some people can't see the iceburg right ahead, but if you can't see that M$ handed out a moneyhat for FF 13 you can't see shit and are BLIND.

If a person owns a PS3 and not a 360, they aren't going to buy a 360 for FFXIII
If a person owns a 360 and not a PS3 they aren't going to buy a PS3 for FFXIII
If a person owns neither (and thus bought the FFVII advent children blu ray to play on a standalone player, then I would reason they are quite likely to buy a 360 to play FFXIII, as the 'PS3 is worth the price as it has a blu ray player' argument is not relevant to them
If a person owns both consoles then they are statistically insignificant
