The game I play the most is Brawl. So I proberly spent 40 hours on it.(Had since 3/09/08)

Then for no reason my wii started to scratch it. Then it started to become unplayable.

Now all I have are games with little replay value. I guess the wii doesn't like to work hard.

Its so mean.

40 hours?! 40 hours?!?!?!

After having it for a year, anything less than 200 hours is scandalous!

40 hours in a year? I played that game 40 hours MY FIRST DAY.

Slap it! Slap your Wii till it behaves!

I played it a total of 1040 hours.

get your wii replaced. I just sent mine in for the second time. Mine was being to loud. Also every time you send it in they refresh your warranty for one year. MY wii is covered until 2010 and I got it launch month.

You sent your Wii in for being loud? Talk about being anal, I'd hate to be one of your consoles and have a fault.

"Hello, this is Nintendo customer service."

"My Wii stuttered. I'm sending it in.

"..."

Staying on topic, my Wii hasn't scratched any discs (yet), but it has refused to read disks twice on start up. This didn't start happening until after the recent firmware update...but I solve it by just resetting the console.

A simple solution that could help: buy a Wii cleaner made by Nintendo...

I had a few problems lately when reading discs on the start-up, so i bought it for 6 euros a few weeks ago... and all these problems are now gone...

The cleaner was grey/black after i used it, quite normal because i'm a smoker, and there's a lot of dust in my gaming room under the roof... (no dust on my Wii, but some dust IN my Wii, that's for sure :)

But of course, Brawl is a double-layer, so it still may have some problems... but not here anyway, my copy never let me down, just as my Wii bought day1 back in 2006...

and an ugly drawing in 1080p will stay ugly forever..."

I can't even play brawl when i choose to. My Wii sporadically decides when it feels like playing Brawl and when it will provide a disk read error. On the other hand it is always exciting, and i am left with a moment of exhilaration anytime my Wii does decide to play the game. Its like buying the game all over, every single time.
