Solid proof that some people need to get a life -_-



I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

I hope I have made some good points here for everyone to consider. i think mya rgument is fair and shows that the wii is not a gimmick the ps3 is!

There is so much fail in this post I don't know where to start

I don't even think face palm can describe this correctly. To my Sony fanboy friends, game over man, game over..

 

By the way, the monster game system known as the Playstation 3, which could play every format under the sun and has the "most powerful" CPU in the world of gaming got it's butt handed to it via two GameCubes taped together.

without some links to proffesional benchmarking tests these comments have not much weight.

the N64 had also more computing power than the PS2 but PS2 still outsould it, Sony did not took the lesson from that.

Only what matters is the sales and the weakest in computing power has the most sales.

You cannot prove a system is better because of specs. It's by the games it acquires and how the system deals with those games.

We know that the PPE in the Cell is basically the same as a core in the X360 CPU, right (as stated by many professionals).  From there, you can easily derive the performance of each SPE vs one X360 core at certain tasks.

We also have a developer's (from Heavenly Sword) input on this.  He says that EACH SPE/SPU and run circles around a X360 core (XeCPU) on decently written code.

Of course, the people that don't want to believe the evidence won't.
