Shinobi Coming To Xbox Live Arcade

Classic Sega arcade game Shinobi is coming to the Xbox 360. The remake was revealed by the ESRB, who have just rated the game "Everyone 10+."

We assume it's a remake of the original, anyway. If this were a next-gen Shinobi game of three-dimensional ninja goodness, we would've heard something about it before the ESRB rated it. Remakes tend to fly under the radar until being revealed by the ESRB, though. The ESRB synopsis also mentions the ninja star bonus round that appeared in the original.

As there's been no official announcement about the game from Sega, we've no idea when this will be released or what the price will be. Now that the cat's out of the bag, though, maybe they'll dish out some information.

Why don't people buy Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection? Then you get Shinobi, Shinobi 3, and like 100 other games for $30. Hell, I think I just sold the game to myself. Maybe I'll pick it up tomorrow after work.

I'd be more psyched if they hadn't already released it on a disc with about 40 other games.

Even if it's the origional arcade version thats on the ultimate MD collection i'll still pick this up.

Revenge of shinobi would be nice though considering it was not on the ultimate collection.

I lost interest with the compilation disc. After getting the 1 Achievement for each game, I stopped playing the game.

But this one will have 200 Achievements.

Here I thought we're getting a port of Shinobi PS2. That would have been really nice.

Should have been Revenge of Shinobi. Like everyone else has said just get Sonic's Ultimate Collection for $29.99 if you want Shinobi. You get 40 other games as well.

why are all these games coming to the xbl but not psn? but this is awesome news. i cant wait.
