Perfect Dark is the superior game, it's beyond opinion.

It took everything good about Goldeneye and expanded on it. Much of Goldeneye's content (weapons, multiplayer levels) is featured as unlockables on PD.

Some of PD's improvements:

• Weapons with secondary functions
• Player profiles (stats, rankings, settings etc.)
• Voice acting and cut-scenes
• Much better graphics, use of N64 expansion pack
• Fully custom multiplayer, combat scenarios, bots

The only thing missing is the Bond licence.

I'd say most people who say Goldeneye, do so because they have not spent enough time with Perfect Dark.

Prove me wrong.

Goldeneye. The level designs were simply better, in large part, I think, because they were often based on real building designs from the film, rather than made from scratch.

Goldeneye for me.

Perfect Dark, single player was better, and multi was great with bots. Also, Perfect Dark you could use some Goldeneye weapons =)

I personally like Goldeneye better but Perfect Dark was a better game. It had better A.I. better graphics and better weapons. Farsight FTW.
