Earthbound, (I think it was mother 2 or 3 in Japan) was one of the funniest unique, interesting, fun games I ever played back in the SNES days. I swear to God if they make another one and don't bring it over to NA I will be FINISHED with Nintendo. I won't even buy Zelda Wii, I will be finished.

Earthbound is Mother 2 or 3, so if they made an Earthbound 2, that would be the US name and mean it would have to be in the US.

If they made another Mother game, and it doesn't come to the US...


... I wouldn't care. At all. I think the game series is highly overrated (though not necessarily bad because of it). I thought Earthbound was pretty cool and all, but not interesting enough for me to really care.

Though I must admit I find it curious that they haven't made re-release of Mother 2 on the DS simply to gauge interest in the series overseas.

That was Mother 3. Later became Mother 3 on the GBA. It was in development hell for a while.

There is a fan translation for Mother 3, and since the game has never been released in NA it should be perfectly legal to download the ROM and play it on your PC.
