Forums - Sales - Japan Charts Week 14

Ok, some other numbers:

Dynasty Warriors MULTI RAID - 7600 / 363000 (very impressive, it's going to outsell the main series' entry)

Wii Fit - 12,000 / 3281000

Biohazard 5 (PS3) - 11,000 / 439,000

And a comparison:

Winning Post PS3 12000
Wiining Post PS2 7700
Winning Post Wii 1300

OP updated with top 30 (thanks bttb).

Seems like a very small drop for Musou Orochi and BioHazard 5, this is quite surprising and not much in line with past trends...

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

This is the lowest Wii week on Famitsu chart ever, but things are bound to pick up with the releases of Muramasa and Monster Hunter G in the next few weeks.

2009:
Winning Post World first week sales:

PS3: 12,000
PS2: 7,700
Wii: 1,300

Total: 21,000

2008:
Winning Post 7: Maximum 2008 first week sales:

PS2: 5,800
PS3: 5,400
Wii: 1,500

Total: 12,700

PS3 holding well !

I expect it to drop to ~16k this week because of some people waiting for the FF AC bundle.

End of '09 predictions :

Playstation 3 : 36M
Xbox 360 : 38M
Wii : 71M

MHP2G just keeps on going on, it has increased in sales past few weeks. Question here is how long will the gap be in between MH3 on Wii and MHP3G? The best version of MHP2G still continues to sell very well so Capcom might keep milking this one for all it's worth.

PS3 doing good, Wii doing OK. X360...

Capcom confirmed they are developing a new PSP Monster Hunter game (in fact I posted a thread about it in late February). However, officialy announcing it's Monster Hunter Portable 3 would kill MH3 Wii sales, and lower these very impressive weekly MHP2G figures.

And with PSP refresh all but confirmed for the Fall release, they are going to get even better.
