Well, I often do, thus it's weird when someone changes avatar
And people have said that I look somewhat similar to my avatar (comparing to the pic in my album), so if you base yourself on that, maybe you aren't that far off

I can't say I've ever done that, but I do usually associate people with certain avatars.

I'm not Yuuko anymore... Now I'm some random gothic lolita anime character i dont even know... Oh and I changed her eye colour to be like mine. Heck if people associate avatar with people then better this one look a little like me!

Good to know that I'm not the only one who is horribly judgemental when it comes to something as silly as an avatar.
I do think you can glean a fair amount of information from a person's avatar, though.

avatar is a good way to recognize members, i can hardly remember members without avatars, i never base the looks of the members on their avatars unless the avatar is their picture, and yes i am a badass monkey in a suit holding a gun.
